Urns: Custom and Personalized
Friends in Montana asked me create a joint urn for them. This is the result.
I think urns are a very sensible and viable alternative to caskets in terms of the footprint difference left on our planet. Additionally, urns are transportable and can easily be relocated which, of course, is not the case with a location specific burial site. Some people get a sense of comfort knowing that their ashes may be spread over their favorite location(s) or just kept "on the mantel". In the case of my Montana friends, they found comfort knowing that they could have both of their ashes encapsulated in one urn.
I look forward to the opportunity of working with new or existing clients to design a vessel that is personal and unique to them and to take the pressure off family members of having to make difficult decisions as to how to lay their loved ones to rest. I invite anyone considering cremation to talk with me so we can together design a vessel that has specific and special meaning to them.
